I will be working on getting this updated...asap..

I live in Northeastern British Columbia, in the Peace River Region. I live on a farm and love every minute of it. I have everything I ever wanted here. It is beautiful and I believed that even 34 years ago, as a young girl, when my family moved here from Ohio.I moved here with my family in 1967 with a truck and camper and a station wagon. That was our home and all of our belongings until dad purchased an old log home with no water and power. Now don't think that we didn't feel like' pioneers.' It didn't take long before we had them though. There were 6 of us kids, me being the oldest and the youngest 8 months old. I thank my mother and father

for making that move to Canada. It must have been really hard for them to leave their families behind and move so far away to a world so different than what they had. I don't think I could ever do that
We have all four seasons here, some too short and some too long. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else though.
My husband's family moved here in 1933 and they still live here. They were true pioneers to the area.
